Emma Sanderson (Studio Emmz) is a versatile Graphic Designer and Illustrator with over 20 years of experience. She specialises in illustration, motion design, and murals, bringing creativity and storytelling to every project. Passionate about equality and inclusivity, Emma loves creating bold, contemporary work for brands and nonprofits with a social impact focus.
She began her career in advertising agencies in Australia and Scotland but has spent the last four years in the 'for-purpose' sector, working with an Australian Indigenous health organisation. Drawing on her experience managing an Aboriginal art centre in a remote Western Australian desert community, Emma uses design to address social issues and strengthen community connections. She has also founded and managed artist-run spaces, hosting workshops and events that foster creativity and community engagement.
Emma holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of Sydney (Sydney College of the Arts) and a Diploma in Graphic Design. She enjoys drawing, painting and has a deep love for dumplings.
