Art classes are a great opportunity for your child to spend after school hours creatively, as well as being a great way to develop your child's sensitivity and method of self-expression. At these sessions, children will learn how to work together and increase their manual skills through different art forms (drawing, painting and collage).
This week (Sept 11) we’re drawing Still-life compositions with Charcoal. We’ll also be analysing some relevant artworks together, to get us started.
Facilitated by visual artist, Emma Sanderson – whose passion for regional communities has seen her working as an art centre manager in remote locations from Reykjavik, Iceland to Papulankutja, an Aboriginal community in the Western Australian Desert. Now she resides in the beautiful Noosa area with her family, working as a designer and illustrator.
Time: You can now choose between 2 sessions: 3:15-4:15pm OR 4:30-5:30pm.
Price: $14 per child
What to bring? An afterschool snack (if you wish) and an old t-shirt that you don’t mind getting messy. All art materials are provided.
Each session is now limited to 8 children, bookings are essential.
